retreat was... amazing. i believe that it served its purpose in that the youth group bonded while individuals were able to experience God in some shape or form. apathy has plagued our youth group and i sincerely believe that most, if not all, has gone away as we enter the school year. i am thankful that God has opened my eyes and brought me up from the crappy low of my life i struggled with for the past months.

thank God for comforting me, protecting me, teaching me, and discplining me. thank God for the great families He has given me and the grace He showers upon me through Him, friends, and family. thank God for helping others fight their struggles. thank God for his miracles.

on the flip side, retreat was absolutely fun  dancing, slapping, basketball, girl talks, rollercoasters, drop zone, and skits. rock on.
